WWE All Stars...I Dig it!

So last week I checked this game out from the local library.  I didn't get much of a chance to play it during the week, actually I only got to play it for like 15 minutes last Saturday afternoon after I checked it out.  I'll admit that I did have my fair share of gaming time but that was spent working on making my first prestige on Call of Duty: Black Ops.  It was due back yesterday, so I decided to renew it.  I am glad that I did, this game is fun.  It has all of my favorite WWE Superstars, past and present.  The Ultimate Warrior, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin they're all there!  The last real Wrestling game I played was Smack Down Vs. Raw: 2007.  While I enjoyed that, the problem is it was too, for lack of better word, serious.  SvR is more of a wrestling simulator whereas WWE All*Stars is pure arcade fun!

I just played through the Path of Champions mode for the World Heavy Weight Championship.  In this mode you wrestle through 10 matches against old and new superstars in a variety of different match types with the ultimate goal of getting to Summer Slam for a title shot against The Undertaker.  Guess who is the new World Heavy Weight Champion???  This guy right here!  I used Stone Cold Steve Austin  and opened up many, many, many cans of whoop a$$.

I have not had the chance to try out any of the other modes yet, but this game gets two thumbs up in my book.  I hope that I have some time to play tomorrow, but it is 2 AM now, and only a few hours until I will be getting up and getting ready for church, so it may just me nap central after church for me.  Good night/morning  Blogger...time to sign off!

Here We Go Again!

Here we go again. Where are we going, I am not quite sure. In order to get to our destination we have to start somewhere, right? Actually this is more like a restart . You see, since my last post on this blog, which happened to be January 1, 2016, ALOT has changed. In the almost nine years since that post, there has been a global pandemic, huge divisions in this country, and host of different things on the personal level that at times still has me saying, "what the heck is going on?"  I can't say exactly why I stopped updating this blog at that time but taking a stroll back down memory lane shows that I really wasn't all that consistent back then. One Week Down!

I know, I know...I have fallen behind on my 30 Day challenge. I am not too far behind so hopefully I can catch it up soon. I am past the point of feeling that I have let myself down. This month is the first month that I have had so many consecutive posts since I started this blog that I am quite pleased with myself actually. Just keep on bearing with me.
