The Lighted Path

Good morning!  Today is actually a great morning because yesterday afternoon, and now again this morning the sun is shinning!  Other than that fact, there is really much else of value that I have to say. I have had this blog up for almost two weeks now, and I when I set it up I swore that I was going to make at least one post daily.  I am embarrassed to say that I failed at that.  That is okay though, seeing as how I do not have anyone following my blog, I was only failing myself.  I am going to be patient though, because I know someone out their might care enough about my nonsense to follow :)  It has just been busy with every facet of my life, and when I get the free moment to blog, I usually end up falling asleep. So how do I get people to follow?  I am still fairly new to blogger, so I am not sure how others may find and follow my blog.  Can you search for labels and find people that way, inquiring minds want to know!  Well if that is a possibility, here comes some shameless se

It is Thursday morning, and I am in the process of waking up and getting ready for work. I just pray that things go well today at work and things slow down just a bit. At work it seems like us guys on the help desk have one or two slower weeks followed by three hectic weeks where the daily amount of tickets seems to double. This usually results in a high amount of tickets that pile up, then just when you think you have cleaned it up, here come some more! I can not say that I dislike my job, heck I have been doing it for almost nine years, I just do not like the pay. I really need to work on my resume! I can talk until I am blue in the face about my financial woes, but until I get the ball rolling or at least push harder for advancement in my present place of employment, the financial strain will still be present. I am kind of upset that I did't get a chance to make a post yesterday. The morning yesterday at work was hectic. It seemed like I was running around all day from 6am on. I do not think I was at my desk for longer than a half an hour. I had intentions of posting last night, but I crashed and my wife woke me up at 2:30 for work. Yes, that is correct I said 2:30. That is what time I get up daily for work, so you can see how easy it is for me to just crash. I was exhausted! With money being so tight, I do know how I am going to do it when I start my second job at night. Well I know how I will do it, but it won't be alone. I know that I will have the Good Lord right there beside me. I just pray everyday that He will guide me to a new career oppurtunity where I will not need to work a second job. Until then I am going to keep grinding, and keep the faith! BMK 7:01AM

I don't know how well I will keep up with this feature on my blog, heck this blog is only a few days old!  Every Monday I will try to post up an album that I listened to that day.  I generally will listen to more than one album in a day, but I will pick the one that meant the most to me.  It may be a new album or it may be an older album.  Like that good old box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get! The album for Monday May 16, 2011 is... Bizzy Bone: A Song For You For those of you who may or may no know who Bizzy Bone is, he is 1/5 of the platinum selling, Grammy winning Bone thugs-n-harmony.  Bizzy was off and on again with the group.  He left (was kicked out, depending on the story) of the group shortly after the release of 2000's "BTNHResurrection."  He recorded quite a few solo albums in his time away from the group.  He had a string of hard times, homelessness, his battle with alcohol, just to name a couple of his "demons."  T

Well luckily we did get to enjoy the sun today, because here comes the rain that they forecast for the next week. It is spring so it should be expected, but last week was real nice with all of the sunny sun sunshine!  Well regardless this is the day that the Lord has made so I shall rejoice and be glad.  I just hope that during the night the power doesn't go out, because it will make it kind of hard for me to get up without an alarm! Even though I know that I should be straightening up or doing work around the house, I enjoy lazy days like these.  After church services this morning the family went out to T.G.I. Friday's for lunch which was a welcome treat.  Our Aunt and Uncle payed for us so we ate good.  I got their French onion soup and a nice old juicy bacon cheeseburger.  By the time lunch was finished the sun was out, and it actually turned out to be a pretty decent day. Even though the sun was shinning, I decided to take some relaxation time and play a little Call of Duty: Black Ops .  I just finished playing and made another level.  I am now at level 48  so I only have two more to go until I prestige!  I enjoy playing the game, but sometimes I hate it because it takes away time from other games that I can be playing!  Now I am outside enjoying the nice day that the Lord has given me with my son.  I am hearing thunder off in the distance though, so I think we are in for some real storms.  My son is not

WWE All Stars XBOX 360! So last week I checked this game out from the local library.  I didn't get much of a chance to play it during the week, actually I only got to play it for like 15 minutes last Saturday afternoon after I checked it out.  I'll admit that I did have my fair share of gaming time but that was spent working on making my first prestige on Call of Duty: Black Ops .  It was due back yesterday, so I decided to renew it.  I am glad that I did, this game is fun.  It has all of my favorite WWE Superstars, past and present.   The Ultimate Warrior, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin  they're all there!  The last real Wrestling game I played was Smack Down Vs. Raw: 2007 .  While I enjoyed that, the problem is it was too, for lack of better word, serious.   SvR is more of a wrestling simulator whereas WWE All*Stars is pure arcade fun!
